"Worship Christ? - Worship Jesus Christ? What does such a back-in-the-day expression have to do with me, yes even with my life? And after all, what the heck is worship and to worship? Hey I'm not a religious goofball."

What are you talking about? Neither am I religious! Religion is only the embarrassing attempt of mankind to redeem itself. So let us drop this subject … we're here for life, for reality. And here worship is up-to-date, because everyone on this earth is worshipping something! For most of the people the object of worship is not an idol made of stone, like for some people in Asia. For us in the western world it is a car, a woman, a rock band, an actor or actress, a job, the money, power or sex … or maybe just our self. We are made this way, to worship something, it's in our genetics, so to call it.

Oftentimes it's only about our-self, our emotions, desires and goals. This is called selfishness
- someone who's caring for his life only, and actually missing the meaning of life itself totally. And only one can rescue us from this run down to nothingness. This someone counted his life worth nothing to go to death for this cause, that we might not miss the meaning of our lives, but to have a fulfilled life instead.

This someone's name is Jesus Christ, who died for our sins about 2,000 years ago on a rugged cross under brutal cruelty and resurrected three days later, to give us a fulfilled, phat life full of hope and confidence which can not even be stopped by death.

This is not a silly fairy tale nor a myth, but the truth, and I experienced it for myself. After 21 wasted years in which I tried out a lot yet still remaining empty inside, my life about-faced after I encountered God and started to open my life for him. If you're thinking that your life sucks, or you realized that there has to be more, or you just want to start over:

Jesus is the way.

Begin to talk to him. He will answer you. Give your life into his hands and be astonished by what he can make out of it. Start to read the bible to learn more about him and this new life. Read first in the New Testament, and then you will discover all the possibilities that are waiting for you …

And when you have started to entrust yourself to him and have given your life to him, then you will realize the wonderful things he has done for you, which will bring you to the point where the only thing that's left is gratitude and overwhelming love for Jesus. And this is worship - the only worship that sets you free.
